handel: was created to revolutionise how waste is handled across Australia.
It started with two camp chairs, one fold-out table and an idea… 100% Landfill Diversion, driven by technology. At the time, we worked for some of the largest players in the waste management industry, both here in Australia, and abroad. It was this experience that showed us, across the board, we were failing.
Traditional waste management fails us all — the planet, corporations, and our communities. We felt helpless. We wanted to act now and effect change within these corporate structures.
We’re not a waste company, though. We’re a technology company. And we’re the world’s first to tackle the waste industry from the bottom up — to create outcomes that promise genuine environmental and social benefits throughout our communities.
